What is a soundwalk? It’s an immersive binaural recording made while walking through a sound-rich natural environment, set to an original instrumental score. Crouch has created a new music vessel to reconnect the listener with nature and enhance focus. Melodic compositions are built up with piano, woodwinds, strings, guitar, tuned percussion and warm synthesizers. Patagonia Lake in southern Arizona offers a quiet backdrop with unique birdsong for Crouch’s striking minimalist score.
